Nysted Strand

Nysted Strand is a child-friendly sandy beach in the small market town of Nysted on south-eastern Lolland. The beach is approximately 230 metres long and 10–20 metres wide, bordered by trees and bushes that provide shade on warm days. Nysted offers a picturesque old town centre and a pleasant harbour atmosphere, and nearby lies Aalholm Castle with its adjoining forest park. A peaceful destination where a trip to the beach can be combined with a stroll through the charming town.
