Kalbyrisskoven

Kalbyrisskoven is an urban forest in the eastern part of Næstved. The forest is owned by Herlufsholm School and Estate and is one of the forests that many Næstved residents use for nature experiences close to the city. Kalbyrisskoven is a beautiful, open deciduous forest that is particularly varied — here you find many of the native deciduous tree species in an age- and species-diverse mixed forest, which is quite unusual.
