Fejø Økologiske Madskov

Fejø Organic Food Forest is a pioneering project in permaculture and regenerative agriculture on the island of Fejø in the Smålandshav. The 3,000 m² site hosts over 300 different edible plant species and serves as a living demonstration of forest gardening — working with nature rather than against it. The project has been certified as a Slow Food Farm, among the first in Denmark. Visitors can harvest fresh produce with guidance, taking food directly from soil to table, and participate in guided tours and workshops. The season runs from May to September, with visits primarily by appointment.
