Farø
📍 Farø, 4793 Bogø By, Danmark
Free
Farø is a small island in Storstrømmen with only five permanent residents, which in 1985 became the focal point of the two Farø Bridges — the motorway bridges connecting Zealand with Falster. Today the island is bisected by the motorway, but on either side there are walking trails and open coastal landscape. The Sjællandsleden hiking route passes by the island. The area around the bridges is popular with kitesurfers, and kayaking around Farø and Bogø offers close contact with the windswept waters of Storstrømmen.
